Now that the first phase of the park project has been completed, the Farmington Nature Park Committee will work toward working with other Boy Scout Troops and volunteer groups to continue the trails, build a small bridge across a low area of the trail, and building benches along side the trails. The remaining projects will be completed as funds become available.

The future amphitheater site is located near the bottom of a sloped field that is approximately 2 1/2 acres. A picnic shelter will be located at the top of the field and additional picnic tables will be positioned around the perimeter of the wooded area. The open field will be grassed and used as an all-purpose field for families to use for recreational games and activities. A waterless restroom will be installed near this area to accommodate hikers/bikers and groups using the civic campground.
